A SOCIAL NETWORK FOR RUNNERS
I mocked up this app in a UX Design class I took in San Francisco. I was inspired by the fact that I couldn't find any running buddies without my track team back at Northwestern. I built the app based on functionality I would want myself—it was important to find a female running buddy, someone who shared my training intensity, and someone who was fun to talk to in general.
AN ESCAPE GAME FOR THE DIGITAL AGE
Social Media Murder Mystery
One of my random summer projects was creating a modernized version of Clue that takes place entirely on a murder victim's iPhone. These app screens were designed as part of the game interface.
A DIGITAL HELPING HAND, NO STRINGS ATTACHED
I designed TwoCents with a group of Northwestern students as part of an Adobe XD Creative Jam. We wanted to build an app where people could anonymously ask others for advice or support.
AN ONLINE COMMUNITY FOR URBAN EXPLORATION
In high school, I kept a blog about my adventures in abandoned buildings. When I was teaching myself how to use various Adobe programs the summer before college, I used XD to mock up an app version of the website. While it looks busy and cluttered by today's design standards, taking Adventure Em from desktop to mobile was a fun challenge.
